I can then navigate to the required directory and file (see screenshot below). I select that, click on the little folder icon to the right and it brings up a file selection box. To use custom DCP profiles, I load an image, click on the "Colour" tab, scroll down to "Colour Management" and one of the options is "Custom".
There's a lot that I like about Rawtherapee, but without custom DCP it's dead in the water for me. If anyone has managed to get custom DCP profiles working then I'd be grateful for some hints and tips. Has Rawtherapee perhaps changed the way it handles DCP profiles in version 5.8 without updating the documentation yet? Or am I just being stupid and missing something obvious in the various settings dialogues? I'm using Linux Mint MATE 19.1 and I've saved my custom profiles into usr/share/rawtherapee/dcpprofiles as per the documentation, but I haven't got any further than that. Meanwhile, the Image Processing dialogue box has got various options relating to profiles, but again I can't find any way of using custom DCP. It only gives me options for the general display profile and printer profiles.
RAWTHERAPEE WINDOWS 8 HOW TO
Of course I've looked at the Rawtherapee documentation and it explains how to add custom input profiles using the Colour Management dialogue box, but the problem is that the Colour Management dialogue that I'm seeing doesn't have any of the options shown in the documentation. And since custom profiles are fundamental to the way I do my photography, it's a bit frustrating. I'm trying to free myself from the clutches of Adobe and have been playing around with Rawtherapee lately, but so far I haven't been able to figure out how to get custom DCP profiles working.
